Psyllium husks

I tried psyllium husks for the first time yesterday. Per the instructions, I mixed 2 tbsp in 10oz of water. YUCKO. :p

Does anyone have any good ideas for consuming this stuff in a more palatable manner? Do you add it to food or another beverage?

On the positive side, I definitely felt FULL after consuming the stuff! It really helped curb my appetite! Does anyone use it for this?

My advice is to drink it quickly :p. I've heard others say they mix it in a shake. Honestly, I don't want to ruin my food by mixing that into it, which is why I take it by itself. It definitely gives you that fuuuuuulllll feeling doesn't it, but I don't take it for that. I take it for the extra fiber.

Bleck! I've tried that too! A little in other things doesn't effect the taste much. A shake, a bowl of oatmeal, probably even sprinkled on a salad in the dressing would be OK.

Thanks for the ideas! I snuck some into my oatmeal and didn't even notice it!

I do as well. I don't think I could stomach the powder. I used to drink Super Greens, and although I did good for awhile, I couldn't force myself anymore.
