Baked goods!

I'm in university and my mother expresses her love for me when I come home by baking! She's great at it and it's hard to resist not having a piece - because it's so good and because I know she made it just for me.

I'm a calorie counter so I allow myself to have treats like this every once in a while, but the issue is that I don't know how to record these items! Is it possible to simply add up all the contents of the recipe and divide it by the portion I had?

Thanks for reading!

Are you asking to figure out the calories for it so you can count it?

Yes what you would do is total up the calories for each ingredient and then divide that by the number of servings. We do this all the time with the points on W/W but we need to utilize 3 different categories (cal/fat/fiber).

Lots of online sites have calculations for basic recipes. I use them for these rare occurences as I don't know what others put in their food. They may not be perfectly accurate, but they give me a good sense. Try nutridiary or fitday.
