Pavellina, I agree... freezing the meals is the way to go! This way I can cook on weekends when I have more time!!

It's called soda here lol.....I'm down to just one glass of Diet Pepsi per day (with dinner, like it's a fine wine or something lol!) It's been H A R D to give up! :dizzy:

Something that helped me give up drinking soda at home... Living in a 4th floor apartment, someone has to carry it up the stairs and it isn't going to be me. I mostly drink iced tea or water at home. At work, I drink iced tea, water and an occassional diet soda.

Over a week and no diet pop (or any kind of pop). I don't even miss it and find that I really do have more energy. Tonight, I couldn't wait to have a club soda with lime when I got home and I am going to walk here in a few. Used to be so tired after working all day and going to WW, then I came home & made a quick dinner tonight and still feel like exercising. :carrot: No ill side effects either (I was drinking caffiene free diet pop) and I still do my morning coffee (black).

Yay, great job! Giving up soda is incredibly difficult, and you should be proud of yourself. As you can see, it's very different on the other side! More energy, and you just feel cleaner somehow. I had gotten used to that feeling, I guess, because yesterday (after going soda-less for weeks) I drank a diet Pepsi and felt GROSS. It burned my mouth, throat and chest, it felt very heavy and, well, icky.

Oddly, when I saw you call it pop, I thought Seattle. My aunt is from there and I love it there!

I also have problems with headaches. I have not given up cokes completely but I do drink quite a bit of decaf tea. Soft drinks have been a really hard thing to get rid of. I rarely buy then for home which is a major difference from the previous habits. Usually the only time I have them now is when I eat out.

I never realized why I headaches so often.
