Both have 68g carbs and 3g fat. The Optimum Slim cereal with raisins has 12g fibre and 14g protein; and the hemp breakfast shake also has 11g fibre with 16g protein.

I tend to think the world runs on my time--I am up by 5am every weekday :dizzy:

:faint:

Sorry, I think I posted it somewhere in this thread. The concoction that's currently in favour with me is:
5½ oz banana, 1 cup cranberry juice, 2 tblsp. hemp protein powder, crushed ice. I just zuzz it all together in the blender.

I get the protein powder from my local organic market. It's Living Harvest Original Flavor Hemp Protein Powder. I started drinking a shake for breakfast because I just couldn't face eating "real" food first thing on a morning. Then I discovered this hemp powder which is great for bumping up the fibre as well as protein. 110 kcals in 1 serving (2 tblsp.).

Thanks for letting me know. I was confused by that one ;)

What I like:

hot cereal (oatmeal, grits or something), with flaxseeds, wheat germ or applesauce.

cold cereal--high fiber like Shredded Wheat, with sliced banana or dried cherries

eggs and vegetarian sausage

frozen waffle with peanut butter and sliced banana.

I agree about eating a small amount q. 3-4 hours. It makes a huge difference for me. Sometimes I do a few walnuts midafternoon and I can stay full until dinner.

I make a packet of instant oatmeal and mix in a cup of frozen blueberries after the oatmeal is cooked. It takes 2 minutes to make and you can eat it a lot faster since the blueberries cool it down (lol I'd rather sleep in later than take time to eat slower... :dizzy: ).
