Salmon Oil - Good or Bad?

I was recently at a woman's show where I bought a few bottles of salmon oil capsules. There are supposed to be great benefits to taking omega-3 oils but one food rating website that I looked at gave salmon oil capsules an F. I understand the whole good oil, bad oil concept but I'm confused about this one.

Anyone know?

Fish oil (omega 3s) is super healthy, and eating salmon or fish a few times a week is supposed to be a fantastic way to make sure you get enough. I've not tried salmon oil capsules, just regular fish oil and krill oil.

Could it be the particular brand they disliked? Some brands of fish oil have been found to be old, rancid, or not have nearly the amount of omega 3s as claimed on the label.

I don't know... I checked it out a bit, it seems good to me. Maybe just because it is oil and fat?
