Default Question about figuring out the calorie count in oil packed sardines

I enjoy eating sardines packed in oil,but I just realized that I'm not sure if the calorie count on the back of the tin includes the oil or is it just for the actual sardines by themself..Does anyone know? thanks!!

Calorie count includes all ingredients. However if you drain off the oil you will decrease calories. According to Calorie King , one ounce of undrained sardines equal 85 calories, drained equal 60 calories.
