This Week's Healthiest Food - Broccoli

One thing I have to sadly report that I burned myself out on. I still have my moments where I can eat it, but most of the time I pass it up.

How do you like yours?

I love broccoli! I eat it with dinner or as a snack in the evening.

I have been known to eat raw broccoli in salads or with some FF Ranch but when I cook it I just boil water and add the broccoli until it turns a bright green then drain the water but it in a bowl with just a pinch of salt and maybe some ICBINB.

That's one thing I can't do is eat it raw. I love raw cauliflower, but I can't do raw broccoli. There's something about the texture that totally turns me off.

However, I'm like you, when I cook it I like to keep it crunchy. Crisp-tender, basically. There's nothing worse than mushy broccoli. My MIL pulverizes her vegetables, lol. Anytime she cooks broccoli or brussel sprouts or just about any veggie, she cooks it until it's MUSH!
