    It's the crazy hot and humid season over here, and all I have an appetite for is cold cold cold food. Dinner's over, 5 more points to go today, and I'm trying to think of something I actually want to eat (on the plus side, I always lose weight during this season!).

    I was down 1 lb at weigh in yesterday so that's good - slow and stead seems to be my new pace - but I'll take anything I can get!
    Teresac where are you that it's so hot and humid?... we are still in winter rainy season in Canada so I'm not yet feeling like I can give up the comfort foods!!

    I'm going to try a recipe for Zucchini pancakes (can't post the link yet, too new to forum ). The whole recipe is 25 points, w/o the yogurt, so if I divide it into 3 servings, 8.5 points per serving. I'm pretty sure that the recipe can be modified for lower points, but I want to try the original first. We'll see how that goes.

    Plus, salad. Yay creamy vinaigrette (2pts).

  • I like seeing all the menus and points along side them. It gives me ideas.

    Breakfast: banana (2) water with benefiber
    MidMorning Meal: 1 cup penne pasta (5) canned pasta sauce (2)
    Snack: Popcorn (2)
    Lunch: water with benefiber and iceberg lettuce salad (0) with a block of cheese (2) baco bits (1?) and salad dressing (2) full fat.... Trying to use up the last bit of this bottle.
    Snack: Chocolate drizzle rice cake (2)
    Dinner: Made chicken and dumplings (8) and mashed potatoes (3)

    After, I ate a bit of leftover Easter chocolate rabbit, so I added 4. It wasn't a perfect measurement so I overestimated.

    So I'm at 32/28 I think.

    I just started this two days ago. Getting used to points and all.

    Hopefully I can keep it together today....I've been binging the last few nights when I get home from work, I don't know what my problem is. I'm avoiding the kitchen at all costs! Kids lunches can wait till the morning....the delicous oh just one bite of whatever's looking good isn't happening! It's totally killing me.
