Flex and Passover

So, I'm still fairly new to being on WW, and Passover's coming up. Other than eating plain matzah and fruits/veggies all week, does anyone have ideas for some OP meals? In years past, I've usually just eaten Passover "bagels" (matzah meal, lots of eggs, and lots of oil) and salami, but I'm thinking there might be many healthier ways of doing it this year. Any suggestions are welcomed!

no good suggestions, but i'll think about it! i suppose fruits and veggies are the way to go, perhaps you could pop over to the south beach boards for some good "no bread" advice. so, you describe matzah bagels, but maybe just skip the bread substitutes (if i remember correctly, they're pretty nasty!) and just go carbless for the week?

Hi Staja,

Coincidently, I just read about WW posting some Passover recipes on their site. Here:

It's definately a tough issue....is also depends on how strictly you keep Passover. For example, House Foods Shiratke Noodles are 20 calories for the whole package...and are made from yam flour...no gluten, no wheat, no nothing. Quinoa is also excellent. My suggestion would be to opt for turkey instead of salami, as salami has a higher salt and fat content. Lots of salads and no bread....sigh....it's only 8 days!! We can do it!!!
