Hello from Snowy MN
 

Hello All

My name is Shelly, I am 32, married, and live in snowy MN :(. I have made the decision to join WW. My sisters-in-law have had huge success on WW and have given me all of the materials :hug:. I've determined that I will do the flex plan. The core plan is super similar to LAWL (which I lost a ton of weight with and met my goal) but could not keep the weight off....I felt too restricted and went crazy (20 pounds worth of crazy) once I hit my goal.

Today I am going to read thru all of the materials I have recieved and determine if I should join meetings, online, or do the monthly pass (good deal). My SIL told me the online message boards on WW website is "high- schoolish" but that is her opinion. I am thrilled to have found you all. I am sure I will have about a million questions as the day progresses :?:.

Hi Shelley! Congrats on your weight loss success so far!

The Monthly Pass is a good deal. That's what I have, I like the ability to use the online tools if I need them as well as attend meetings (which I love).

I've heard similar opinions of the WW forums... That people can get downright nasty to each other. 3FC is a much more supportive community, I think. Our moderators do a good job :)

Let us know what you decide to do :) Even if you join the WW boards you can certainly stick around 3FC (I recommend it.). I wasn't a huge fan of the WW boards... I find 3FC much more intelligent & supportive. I do love my WW meetings though!

Welcome, I'm relatively new as well and found everyone here very nice and supportive, no different then you will find I'm sure. Good luck with everything and let us know how things go for you!
