TOM gain????
Hey everyone...I am going to be having my first TOM since losing weight...and I was just wondering how much pounds do you guys usually gain during it??? and how long does it usually take you to get it back off???

It depends. But if you ate okay DURING tom, 9 times out of ten, it's just water weight and will be off in a day or two.

I average up 2 due to water retention and such, but it comes right off. This is part of your learning curve, if you stay on program, you will know how your body reacts, everyone's different.
Make sure you drink your water, it helps. |
Yep, I tend to be up about 2. But I get my gain about 2 weeks before TOM, and absolutely no change during/after. I go back down the week after I see the gain.

yeah a couple lbs is pretty normal but everyone's different. and like shari said, as long as you're still eating the same then it's probably just water weight and nothing to worry about. i've heard others say they don't even bother to weigh themselves that week because they know their bodies well enough to know what's gonna happen.

I gained 4 (this month was my first too) TOM has been gone a few days an dbody is still doing weird stuff so I have no diea what is going on!!

I just weighed myself this morning and I gained 3 pounds!
Im assuming it was just TOM because I got it this morning... dannnnnng |
I usually stay the same or and up anywhere from 0-1lb. I usually have my gain the week before TOM.

I'll gain anywhere from 2-5 lbs the week before TOM, then the week of, I lose it all (plus some).
I think I'm kind of weird because it's my favorite week of the month :p because I always lose HUGE amounts that week! :) |
since someone asked already-- can you tell me what dh, dbody and other frequently used abbreviations stand for?
