When Zero Doesn't Equal Zero

I know we've had a couple discussions on 0-point foods in here. This article popped up in my email this morning and I thought I'd share the link in case any of you are interested:

When Zero Doesn't Equal Zero
http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/a...1&art_id=40701

The article discusses some of the rules of counting multiple servings of zero-point foods, including some examples of particular foods that are popularly overeaten (like ff cool whip).

I guess the main takeaways from it are that
a) The only true 0s are "from the earth" 0s--veggies which even if you eat 3 servings in one sitting are still 0s.
b) if you eat 1 serving of 0-point manmade food in the morning and one in the evening it's still 0-points.
c) and if you eat 2 servings of 0-point manmade food in one sitting the points value tends to change.

Hope someone finds that of use :)

The other day I was inputting my foods into the online journal and my piece of chocolate came up to 0 points. I was shocked.

Thanks for posting the link to that article. It's a good reminder how zero points can add up. (Zero + Zero doesn't necessarily equal Zero.) :)

 We definitely have to keep that in mind when using "0" foods.
