What type of music do you like best? It is better to ask what I don't like - I don't like rap, or the heavy metal with lots of swear words in it.
If you were on a deserted island for a month, by yourself, what 3 (only 3) items (not people) would you want with you? My smart phone with 10 extra batteries that has data plan, toilet paper (hahaha) and a boat.
Other comments: Thought I would add to this thread as I have been active here since April.

Throwing my name in the pot
Name: Keri
General location: Mississippi/Alaska. Depends on the time of year.
Occupation: Pharmacy student/beach bum
Birthday: Aug 21
Marital status: Married for 5 years, bless his heart.
Children/grandchildren: Oh no. None of that. I have a handful of a dog that keeps me occupied
How long have you been on WW/Flex: As of this week, actually, I have been doing this a month.
How much weight do you hope to lose: I'm looking into enlisting with the US Public Health Service. To enlist I need to at least make it down to 170.
What do you do for exercise: All sorts of things. I take group fitness classes on campus, do some walking. I'm starting the 100 Push-Up Challenge and thinking about starting C25K over Christmas break.
What foods help you stay OP: Veggie omlettes. Seriously, I could have it for any meal of the day loaded with zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli, you name it.
Why do you think you'll be successful this time: Because, it's my chosen career at stake. I could work for USPHS as a civilian, but the benefits are so much better enlisted.
What is the biggest obstacle between you and success: Oh myself. I have that little voice in my brain that says its okay to have a little more, to just fudge numbers this week, and no one will notice that I had three cookies instead of 1.
How will/did you overcome this obstacle: A big ole imaginary slap to my brain. I've got to keep the vigilance. I didn't gain back the 70 lbs I lost through paying too much attention.
What do you like to do for fun: All of it. Fish, hike, snuggling with my dog on the couch, sailing, water-skiing, nerdery (I go to Dragon Con every year), play guitar and sing (my sister and I are a no depression bluegrass duo). I seriously, can go on and on.
What type of music do you like best? Oh dirty delta blues, my friends. It's what I was weaned on.
If you were on a deserted island for a month, by yourself, what 3 (only 3) items (not people) would you want with you? My guitar, a romance novel, and a piano
Other comments: I'm toying with the idea of vegetarianism.

Name: Kristen
General location: Suburbs of Detroit
Occupation: Media
Birthday: 4/18
Marital status: In a serious, wonderful relationship
Children/grandchildren: No, just fur-kids (dogs and cat)
How long have you been on WW/Flex: Well I started in July of 07 and lost 22 lbs... then quit going/following plan and gained back 10 or so. I recently re-joined (this time for good!) and plan on doing it the right way!
How much weight do you hope to lose: My long term goal is to lose 37 lbs.
What do you do for exercise: I used to think I "hated working out/going to the gym" but now that I've joined a NEW gym, I realize I just hated the atmosphere of the old place! I really enjoy the elliptical as well as running outside on the trail when it's nice. I do some free weights and occasionally pull out my jump rope and exercise DVD's.
What foods help you stay OP: Lots of fiber and protein... and WATER! If I'm lacking any of these, I'm SOL and start to eat things I shouldn't. I've also noticed that dairy keeps me really full. I usually start my day off with hot cereal/oatmeal and I have to have yogurt everyday! Oh, and light multi-grain english muffins and Fiber for Life bread!
Why do you think you'll be successful this time: I know what it felt like to have such high hopes and to have no one else to blame but myself for losing track of my dreams and goals. It sucks to say you're going to do something (lose 10 lbs) and then a month goes by and you've done the opposite (gained 2 instead, like I did). I want to be healthy and I want to be able to look at myself in pictures without cringing!
What is the biggest obstacle between you and success: My attention span. I have a lot of trouble focusing, seeing the big picture sometimes. I'm also somewhat of a perfectionist and I need to learn to pick myself back up when I fall down!
How will/did you overcome this obstacle: Just changing my perspective, sharing stories with others to realize it's a journey.
What do you like to do for fun: Spend time with BF, friends, family... I love being outside. I enjoy shopping, cooking, baking, traveling, learning new things, and meeting people!
What type of music do you like best? Everything from Bach to Fergie!
If you were on a deserted island for a month, by yourself, what 3 (only 3) items (not people) would you want with you? My WW water bottle, a skimpy bikini (hey! no one's going to see me!) and something cozy to sleep on.

What do you do for exercise: Walk
What foods help you stay OP: Not sure really
Why do you think you'll be successful this time: Because I want to do this for me not anyone else and I am making small goals to work towards the long term goal of being healthy.
What is the biggest obstacle between you and success: My biggest obstacle is the way I allow myself to be persuaded to have something to eat when I know I don't really need it.
How will/did you overcome this obstacle: Learn to say no and tell people what I am doing and why and ask them not to keep asking iof I want something all the time.
What do you like to do for fun: I like making ATC's ( Artist Trading Cards) going for a walk is fun for me as well. Reading and listening to music.
What type of music do you like best? A range of music from Pop to Light Classical
If you were on a deserted island for a month, by yourself, what 3 (only 3) items (not people) would you want with you? A book of poetry, a cooking pot, the American blanket my friend made for me its huge and would be great for cold nights and as a shelter from the sun.
