hey i found a recipe for SB kethcup...

Ingredients:
48 ounces tomato juice
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar substitute
1 teaspoon dry chopped onion
1 teaspoon dry chopped garlic
1 teaspoon dry chopped green pepper

Directions:

Boil all ingredients together until thick and reduced to about half the amount of liquid. Store in refrigerator.

presumably you would blend it if you want the ketchup to be 'smooth'

If you want a Cocktail Sauce...all cocktail sauce is is ketchup and horseradish (and sugar if you like it sweeter). Once you make the ketchup above, just add horseradish.

I made this Ketchup this weekend and it is fantastic. Very easy and very yummy.

I couldn't find the dry chopped green pepper so I just added some black pepper instead and it came out just fine. I didn't add the sugar substitute because I can't use any of the artificial sweeteners.

I let it come to roiling boil and then turned it down so that it was still boiling lightly and let it do it's thing for about 30 minutes stirring it whenever I thought about it. It isn't really thick this way but it was really yummy.

Can't wait to try it on Cola Chicken.
