    adapted from a SPLENDAŽ recipe

1 cup SPLENDAŽ No Calorie Sweetener, Granular
1/4 cup Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, preferably made with SPLENDAŽ

    Mix ingredients well.
Replaces 1 cup of regular brown sugar to be used when baking.
  • Is this what they often referre to as "brown sugar twin"?
  • No. This is one you make up using Splenda. Brown Sugar Twin is differnt and not recommended.
  • Ruth,

Why do you say that Brown Sugar Twin is not recommended? I've used it several times and it tastes great. Regular Sugar Twin is listed as good in the GF/GC. Brown Sugar Twin does contain maltodextrin but then so does granulated Spenda.
  • Well, Splenda is the only one recommended on SBD and I have to preach the SBD bible! Can't find it in my guide. However, I could be wrong - I've made mistakes before - been married twice!
