Sausage stuffed mushrooms

  • I needed a phase I appetizer for DH this past weekend...and this was fantastic. All the guests really enjoyed as well!!

    Sausage stuffed mushrooms
    1/2 lb cooked sausage (I used turkey italian)
    8 oz block cream cheese, softened (I used 1/2 block of neuchaftel)
    8 oz cleaned mushroom caps

    Mix cheese and sausage together. Fill caps with mixture (you can then sprinkle with a touch of parmesan, if desired). Broil in preheated oven for 3-6 minutes, until browned.
