Lightbulb ISO sugar-free Caesar salad dressing

I cannot beleive that even salad dressing has high fructose corn syrup in it!! Good Lord is there no escaping that stuff? Surely there's an easy to make recipe somewhere out there. Have to check the recipe boards. Whoever heard of sugar in SALAD dressing, for pity's sake?

Post SF salad dressing

I'm currently enjoying Cardini's caesar. Someone recommended it on another website.

Walden Farms makes all kinds of sugar free/calorie free/fat free salad dressings, including caesar. Their kinda of "liquidy", but what can you say when it doesn't have NOTHING in it. But as far as taste, it's actually pretty good.

Default Homemade Caesar Dressing

Try this recipe -- it's much better than anything you can buy, it's SF, and you can adjust the fat content to your liking.

Quote:
Caesar Dressing

1 cup mayonaise, reduced fat mayo, or FF mayo
2 T. olive oil
2 T. water
1/4 cup Eggbeaters
1.5 T. fresh lemon juice
1 T. anchovy paste (optional)
2 cloves garlic
Splenda or Equal to equal 2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Place all ingredients in food processor bowl fitted with steel knife. Process for a minute or so, until all ingredients are blended and dressing is creamy. Store in refregerator.
