What?! I'm ACTUALLY wearing a size...

  • ...
    17 juniors.

    At this very moment.

I have on a pair of pants that have not fit me for three years.

AND I am sitting down AND I can breathe AND I didn't have to lay down and smush/push to get into them (AND the buttons aren't about to fly off!!!).

I bought a pair of pants a few days ago - they were on clearance, and looked cute, and I thought they would make a good birthday goal. They fit. They were a size 16.

2 months ago I was wearing a size 22 women's. Now I'm in 16s in some, 18s in others, and 20s in a few. All the 20s are loose and need a belt. This only gives me a little bit of motivation, though...
  • I am starting over, I guess I do not need to wait until January UUH
  • congrats doesn't it feel great!
  • That is awesome. You've done great in such a short time. Just picture yourself a month from now and then another month...and another. Keep up the good work.
  • That's awesome! Keep up the good work!
  • Congrats!!!
  • Thanks everyone!

Today, I put on my belt, and I could go down another notch. When I bought it a month and a half ago, I was on the first notch. Now I'm on the third.

I'm really afraid to weigh and measure (what if there's no change?!) but I'm elated about this. It really gives me a push to keep going.

  • Oh isn't it a great feeling when you can get on a pair of old jeans.
    WTG!
I have an OLD OLD pair of light blue Cords(can You tell I am old!?) that I will cry when they finally zip. They are an 8. Which is a 6 in todays sizes. My daughter was a 6 and fit into them...and they are an 8. Waht are they doing changing sizes like that? More ways to make women feel bad about the number they wear!
