My husband tells me that he ran into John yesterday and John asks him how I'm doing. Okayyy. He tells me actually everyone keeps asking him how I'm doing, how I'm feeling. Okayyyy. And I say to him honey why is everyone inquiring about me so much. And I'm thinking he told John and everyone else that I'm losing weight and I'm ready to hit the roof. It's hard enough losing all this weight with out the whole world knowing and now he's tellling his friends and acquaintances. Just anyone that will listen to him. Ucchh, I'm ready to scream. Just what I need the whold world scrutinizing me. So then he says to me "Honey, I can't help myself, I tell everybody that I see that you're losing so much weight and feeding me such healthy foods. I'm just so incredibly proud of you, you have no idea."

So I guess I couldn't scream at him.

Wow it sounds like your hubby is very proud of you and wants everyone to know how well your doing! Go on give him a cuddle instead of screaming at him!!

Also, if it does bother you, let him know! I'm glad for you that he's so proud of you, but if it really does bother you, you do have the right to ask him to respect your privacy too. I know how you feel, cuz ppl automatically ask "how much has she lost?" or "how much does she weigh now?"

Thanks all for your kind remarks. But then you do see what I mean, I mean who wants the whole world knowing that you're on a diet? Isn't this hard enough without everyone now EXPECTING you to lose weight and actually LOOKING for it. Argghhh.

But I just couldn't be angry with him, it was sooo sweet what he said about it. I just kept my mouth shut and yes gave him a big hug and kiss. This poor guy met me when I was 125 pounds and has loved and supported me all the way through weighing 287 lbs., never ever once, not even once complaining about my weight.

And Calejo, NSV stands for Non Scale Victory. When you've made a gain in your weightloss progress other then the reading on the scale.
