Astounding!
Just what I needed when I am SO discouraged. Bless your heart for sharing. Poddler |
I know everyone loses weight at different paces but how long (months) did it take you? You look superb by the way.

Okay.. lets see, to answer some questions....
It took me about 2 years to lose this weight.. one day at a time.. I started doing a little cardio, on top of eating healthy, and then worked my way up to a personal trainer doing Cardio 4 days a week and still eating healthy. What inspired me to do it is, Went I went into AFIB with my heart, I thought I was never going to see my kids again..... that's all I needed to get myself in the right direction.. I am so glad that I can be an inspiration to ANYONE here... If anyone EVER needs any tips or just wants to chat with me, feel free to e-mail me or go to myspace http://www.myspace.com/karenbeth33 |
yes a medical scare like that can motivate oneself. i had a bout with cancer which got me started on this journey. i thought hey if i can beat cancer i can beat this weight loss battle too. i hope you hear from you alot you truly do inspire me to keep on working at it1

Atrial fibrillation/flutter is a heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia). It usually involves a rapid heart rate, in which the upper heart chambers (atria) are stimulated to contract in a very disorganized and abnormal manner
So bascially when I was brought into the hospital in AFIB, my heart rate was 210.. normal is about 90... it took 9 hours for my heart to convert back to normal sinus Rhythm.. while in AFIB I had to be on IV Blood thinners .. if I did not go back into Sinus Rhythm on my own, they would have shocked me with the paddles to put me back into normal... Thank God it went back into normal on it's own... They call my condition LONE AFIB.. I am much healthier now, doing great.... Thanks everyone! |
