Staff retreat
 

All the staff and volunteers at my old job get together once a year in the summer for a retreat at the Exec. Director's lake house. Even though I'm working elsewhere, they invited me along with my BF.

I had a great time, getting to see everyone and catchup. There was GREAT food - which I didn't overeat, though I did have two small pieces of super-chocolatey cake.

Everyone was full of compliments about how great I look, including the weight loss and new haircut. Some of these women and I used to weigh the same-ish, so it's great that they are so positive without being down on me or themselves. :hug:

One woman there was a bit frustrated, I think. She has lost 40 pounds, and got her hair cut short and dyed red. And in I walk down 79 pounds, with shorter hair that is my original red. She was good about it though.

Yay for late night parties on the beach! :D

Sounds like you had a really good time. And im glad that others had a positive response when seeing you after you weight loss. Congrats on the 79 pounds by the way. Thats amazing!
