58 lbs lost!!!!!!
I joined weight watchers in January and since i have lost 58 lbs!! I feel so great about myself. I am only a few points away from being inside the "normal weight range" for my height! Im really excited to be "normal" instead of "overweight" and when i started i was "obese" My first goal is to get down to 150 and after that i'll just keep lossing untill i like how my body looks. Im thinking 130lbs, but we'll see. I went shopping recently (actually i go shopping A LOT because im growing out of my clothes so often) but i bought a pair of PJ shorts at Old Navy.... size medium! and i got one of those long tank tops... size L!!! I think my jeans/shorts/skirts is like 13 maybe even an 11 now. The thing i love most and hate most about lossing weight is buying cute smaller clothes and then growing out of them within the month. Its getting VERY Expensive! I was feeling good so i thought id make a post, good luck everyone!

Congratulations that is wonderful. I can't wait until I reach the normal weight section for my height.
You are almost to your goal, keep going for more success. |
Cherry, good for you!! :cheer: I'll bet you'll look fabulous at 130. (okay, I have no idea how tall you are... )
I was a BABE at 128 (I'm 5'-2"). :D I'm really happy for you. |
:encore: :encore: What a fantastic accomplishment. Okay I'm a little jealous but that's okay.WOW I treid to find a smiley that was apporopriate for shopping, none found but here's you speeding off to the mall for some new clothes. Better go fast becasue it's falling right off you :D It's such a great feeling to wear smaller clothes. I can't imagine buying anything medium :dizzy: So tell us now how you did it. What's your secret to success? |
Wow! I am so happy for you! The only thing that comes to mind is that for once you are not "growing out" of your clothes, you are shrinking out of them. I dream of just being able to get back into some of my cute clothes that I used to wear. I still have them because I could not stand to admit defeat and get rid of them. They are packed neatly away in a bag in my basement just waiting on me! Enjoy your victory, but don't forget how you got there! That is what I did and the next thing that I knew, I was back to where I started again! Twice!

Congratulations on the smaller sizes. It does feel fantastic. It can also be expensive. I have found a consignment shop in my area that is great for getting some cute things to use while I am still losing. This helps a lot on the budget. I got to where I was losing sizes so fast that it was hard to spend much money on clothes knowing they'd soon be too big. But, it is a great feeling. WTG

Awesome job! Yep, think all of us that have been successful at weightloss have the same issue. I call it shopping for "disposible clothes". That means, trying to find clothes that are not too expensive, that I won't mind giving to Good Will or the likes a month or two down the road. Let's just say I'm happy to do it! I never liked clothes shopping before, and am becoming quite the shopper these days! Its much more fun when you actually fit into the clothing opposed to wanting to ( try ) to hide in it!
Enjoy! Susan |
