Who's that girl? ...That was ME!?
 

Today (well, yesterday now as it's 1:30 AM) was my last day of school and as I am graduating this weekend, our choir director played some movies of our class from our freshman and sophomore years in high school. In one of the videos there was a girl with long, dark red hair and she was pretty pudgy... and I thought for a second, "Who was that?" until I realized...

That was ME!!

It's amazing what two years can do. I hardly recognized myself, and all day I had people telling me how different I looked. Not only was my hair different, but I was about 40 lbs heavier. It seemed very strange. I have a link in my signature that somewhat illustrates the differences between two and three years ago and now, although my hair was much darker when this video was taken as it was winter.

I just thought I'd post this because it has been my first real NSV that I've felt truly proud of :) Thanks for the support, as always. <3

That's awesome:)! I bet you felt great after that and it's another thing to keep you going. Congrats on your NSV and graduating! I graduated from high school two weeks ago:).

I cant tell you how many times I have strange women stop me and ask me if my hair is naturally that way, and how much they like it. you're a beautiful girl in every picture. Keep up the good work!!!

That is such a great NSV! It is so hard to notice big changes in yourself, but that is truly awesome and you look amazing in the picture from April! You should be so proud of yourself :D

Wow - I looked at your pictures and you look wonderful! You have made a lot of progress in H.S., but don't be so hard on yourself! I love the red hair and curls, and most women who go through an "ugly duckling" stage are usually better off for it! :hug:
