NSV's
 

I just found this forum and wanted to post. I have a few NVS's.

1- at my highest weight I had a bmi of 39.6
Now with 29 lbs to go I have a bmi of 27.3

2- I noticed in the last couple of weeks more men are flirting with me again. I forgot what it was like to have random men flirt and look. Sometimes it is uncomfortable but my boyfriend says I better get use to it again.

3- I am going to wear a dress I could not wear for at least 6 years. It is a simple grey slip dress never goes out of style. It is a size large

4- my pajamas that use to be tight are now way to big I look lost in them.


I stil have a ways to go but I needed to brag a bit.

To me, fitting into my old clothes is a huge NSV.

Other things I've noticed:

• My torso jiggles less on daily bus rides
• I can pull my knees much closer to my chin
• All of my clothes hang better
• I'm not as embarrassed to get naked in front of a group of people at a hot tub party

That is great phanta .. I know what you mean about not being embarassed to get naked. It feels great

Congratulations to both of you on your NSV.

I wore a pair of pants to church today that I thought might just fit again....they were BAGGY!! and the right guy at church made a comment about my baggy pants.

Help!!! What does NSV stand for? I get that it means something that you have achieved due to your weight loss, but I can't for the life of me find exactly what it stands for!

NVS- Non scale victory. Don't feel bad it took me awhile to figure it out !

Feel comfortable getting naked!?!?! You guys are awesome! I have never felt that -- i am very insecure!!! Wish I were more like you guys!

It took me about 30-some odd years to get comfortable nude in front of others.

PeeB I have been there with you!It will come in time, maybe even one section at a time.
I can walk around now without a top but I am not confident enough to go completly bare.
So for those of you that can thats great!
