Not Embarrassed
I went to the doctor yesterday - just to renew my allergy meds - but I wasn't embarrassed or worried about getting on the scale! For me, that is a BIG success. Down 15 lbs now!! Woo Hoo! :carrot:

Thats a wonderful feeling isn't it!!
Good for you! |
Isn't that a good feeling?!?! I used to try to think of ways to get out of getting on the scale and now I don't mind. I may have a ways to go yet, but just knowing how far you've come makes a BIG difference! Congrats!

I can totally relate to this. I used to avoid the doctor just to avoid the scale. It was terrible. Way to go :D

That's great! Glad you could be proud of your success!
I guess I am fortunate... my doctor doesn't weigh me when I go for routine visits. |
Lol that's great. In fact I have a doctors apt next week and Im actually looking forward to it. I weighed 240 pounds 3 months ago and my weight came up and I had told her that I had actually already lost 20 some pounds and she looked at me like I was lying. So I cant wait to see her face when I go back next week. : ) Congrats to you!

Congrat's. I hate those doctor scales. However, I'm not so embarassed to step on them now either. They still always way me a couple lbs. higher than my scales at home and this is frustrating to me. But, I weigh without clothes and shoes at home.

haha, i can totally relate to all you guys, when i was younger, everytime i hopped on the scales at the doctors i made my mum look away so she couldn't see!
