Talking yipee!

I've kinda been m.i.a. for a couple weeks - parents were visiting, final exams, all that fun stuff... luckily I haven't been ignoring my diet at the same time... down another 3.5 pounds - only one more pound to go until halfway! And, as of this weekend, down to a size 10. It's been 5 years since I've been a size 10, so I'm pretty darn excited about that. And I'm starting kickboxing in a couple weeks, so that should whip my butt into shape! Just had to share with you guys!

Congrats! Hope you love the kickboxing! I wanted to take it at my son's karate school, but don't have the money Seems like the whole family wanted to take karate at the same time...lol.

Size 10!!!! Wow! I don't remember seeing a size 10...I'm sure it was in middle school sometime...but I can't wait to see it again! That's the size that will prove real progress to me!!!!

Way to go!

Thanks guys! The most exciting part is that I'm almost at the size I was when I moved out of home... and when it all went downhill! I got the freshman 50 instead of the freshman 15! Even though it sucked gaining the weight and being so out of shape I think that I'll appreciate my body a whole lot more now that I've had to work so hard to get here - and hopefully I won't let it slip again. And for all the whinging I can do about how long it takes, 4 months isn't bad for getting rid of weight that took me five years to put on! Hope everyone else is having a great spring, too!
