Where I work there are always a lot of people out walking around on lunches and stuff -- lots of businesses and housing, etc. There are a lot of different directions to go so my walks often vary. Today I was plodding up the hill and met a guy going the other way. I had never met him before. He was wearing a headset but as he got near me, took it off. Then he said "You're really doing good! I see you all over the place! Great job!"

I know he could see I was beaming as I thanked him for the encouragement; and he had a big smile too as I know he felt good about being an encourager! :carrot: LOL bet he has NO idea he will get posted about on 3FC!! :)

Thats a good feeling when others notice your hard work!

Congratulations Misti, You truly are doing great and I like to hear when someone acknowledges your efforts. Keep posting, it inspires me.

Now if other people were like that...lol. I told a lady that works at a local store here one time that I noticed that she'd lost alot of weight and looks great, and she looked almost horrified and said 'I have diabetes, I had to lose it'...I was thinking, sheesh, say thanks and smile or something, I didn't just tell you that you look like you're gaining weight. I mean, she was still a bit big, but nothing like compared to what she'd lost from.

Awwww Misti, I loooove it! You're always so ready to encourage and support others that you absolutely deserve every word of praise and encouragement that you receive! I'd bet money that you have been a motivator for the man who praised you yesterday. He sees you out there, doing it and that may just keep him going!

By the way, are you married? Is this man cute? Sounds like he was waiting for an opportunity to speak to you, myself!

Way to go Misti, I remember reading a little while ago that you were at a standstill. It must have felt great to have this guy notice all the work you have been doing!

Well I have to admit my standstill was only a week and a half so really not all that much to get bummed over. :) Was just having some weak moments as I want it to GO :rofl:

But yes, it is neat, as all of a sudden people are starting to notice. Several have commented that my face is thinner. But mostly I can tell/see such a huge difference and that is encouraging whether or not other people notice!!
