Belly fat is so dangerous: here is why
If your waist measures 35 or more inches for women or 40 or more inches for men, chances are you’re harboring a potentially dangerous amount of fat. Abdominal Subcutaneous fat that lurks beneath the skin as “love handles” or padding on the thighs, buttocks or upper arms may be cosmetically challenging, but it is otherwise harmless. However, the deeper belly fat — the visceral fat that accumulates around abdominal organs — is metabolically active and has been strongly linked to a host of serious disease risks, including heart disease, cancer and dementia. I hope that these little fact help someone who does not understand the dangers of the "Love Handle"

Diet is also important. Pay attention to portion size, and emphasize complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) and lean protein over simple carbohydrates such as white bread, refined-grain pasta, and sugary drinks. Replacing saturated fats and trans fats with polyunsaturated fats can also help.

It’s a valuable post for anyone looking for motivation to cut that extra fat. It’s not too late if your belly measures 35-to-45. I myself was 100 kg when I started my journey, now I weigh 62 kgs.
