how do I make a mini goal?

  • What would a mini goal be? How do I set one? How long do I give myself?
  • Okay. My mini goal is to lose 3 pounds. To be more physically active. To spend more time on my feet and less time on the couch. To say no to dessert. To say yes to more water.
  • I'm new to this forum. I had gastric bypass about 6 years and while I have maintained my 80 pound weight loss, I'm still 30 pounds from my goal weight. I'm happy to have found this forum. My mini goal is to go the gym 3 times next week, drink more water (biggie for me).

    That's five weeks from now. Weekly goal is 2-3 lbs to get as close to 199 as possible.

    I will be doing a lot of walking on the trip, and don't want to be tired and exhausted because of the extra weight.
