NSV-Pants. Again with the Pants
It seems that every time I have a NSV, it involves pants, LOL.
Yesterday, I wandered over to the Salvation Army on my lunch break. Everything was 50% off. I decided to pick up a couple of pairs of jeans, because my current jeans are either too big or too small. There is literally no inbetween. So, I bought two pairs, two different brands, and the tag said "14". I broke the cardinal rule of thrift shopping, in that I didn't check the inside tag for sizing. I just went by the store tag. I did check for stains and holes and yadda yadda, but not size. So, I go home and try them on and they both fit, really well. In fact, one pair is a little big in the stomach area. No biggie, that pair is SO SOFT that I can't believe they are jeans. I take them off to check the brand and they are the JC Penny store brand. Mental note. Size 14 JC Penny. But....the tag....the tag says....12?! Size 12?! WHAT? I check the other pair. Old Navy boyfriend. Size 12. SIZE 12. I know Old Navy runs big, but still. I'm kind of freaking out. I guess I'll keep doing this "exercise" thing. The scale may not be moving, but the clothing sizes are..... |
