My highest weight was 289 pounds. I lost 69 pounds (down to 220), but gained back ten over the last few months. Granted, I started a new job and had been very sick and stressed for the past year... Part of that stress has been estrangement from my alcoholic mother. After cutting her sister, both brothers, and all other extended family out of her life years and years ago, she and I had a falling out. I haven't heard from her in almost two years.
At any rate, I am determined to get myself down to 210 by June 12. I am going to be graduating from college. This will be my first-ever diploma, as I tested out of high school when I was 16. I'm going to have a cap and a gown and a gold honors tassel, and I'll have my friends and chosen family there. I want to have pictures that I can be proud to show people or hang on my wall, too.
So, 20 pounds by June 12. Shouldn't be too hard. A lot of that will be losing a bit of this bloat I've had going on. But I could use some encouragement... It's tough for me to walk the fine line between just-enough exercise and too much (I have medical issues with my legs, knees, back, and neck that can end badly when overdoing it)... I'm planning on upping my walking so that I'm walking at least 3 miles 3 days per week, cutting out snack foods, cutting out snacking after official dinner time, and drinking more tea and water.
Well, here goes!

. Good luck on your journey, that's over two months to loose twenty pounds. I'm rooting for you!
