Mini Goal 2 COMPLETE
WOOHOO!
So, my first Mini Goal was November 18th, and all I had to do was log calories. This time, I also just had to log calories, until my DXA scan which I had on the 30th. I not only achieved my calorie logging... I achieved results! I lost 12.0 pounds of fat. I gained 2.8 pounds of lean mass. I went down 2.8% in body fat (from 48.1% to 45.3%) My previous DXA scan was on October 8, so this change took place in three months (minus a week). It's notable that this scan was right before my cycle started, and I may have been holding onto some water (which is held in lean mass). So, it's possible my lean mass gains are wrong (i.e. negative or nil), and I'll have to use my next scan as a better indicator. As you can see in my signature graph, my scale weight has jumped up a bit to a short after-holiday plateau, so it's really heartening to see what I've achieved despite what the scale's trying to tell me. :) |

What a great mini goal! It makes a lot of sense to set a behavior goal, which you have more control over, as opposed to an outcome. |
