25 Pounds GONE!

It's been a long, long, HARD road!

I've lost 25 lbs. I've eaten clean, had that darn cookie or brownie or beer or chicken wing if I really wanted it, gone to the gym three or four times a week, lifted weights, gone 30 or more minutes on that elliptical that I HATE even when I was tired, joined a kickboxing class that I LOVE, watched my clothes fall off of my body.....and it's all been worth it. I hiked the Manitou Incline! I'm so proud of myself. This is the only place I know that I can say that out loud.

I buy myself little gifts for each milestone. A small bottle of perfume or makeup or a pretty top. I recently gave away a pair of size 20W jeans. I bought a pair of size 16 jeans and cried in the dressing room. I'm doing it and so can you.

DO NOT GIVE UP. NEVER, EVER, EVER give up. It can be done! I promise you! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Great job! I am a size 16, too. Have lost 14 lb. since May (with a hiatus June–August). A friend of mine, who has lost a significant amount of weight, says, "small steps leads to great strides."

Congrats! I think the key is to allow yourself to have the things you want in moderation so that you don't feel denied and risk falling off course.
