STG achieved!

  • This morning, after months and months and months (!!!) of work, looooooong stalls, and so much frustration, I finally reached my short term goal/mini goal. I stepped on the scale like 6 times, and even recalibrated it to make SURE it was right, but it kept showing 165. I finally reached it!

    I am so happy.

I've still got a long way to go, nearly as far as I've already come in fact, to get to where my docs have suggested I should be. However, to have at least reached this milestone is something of a relief, as it had seemed it was going to be so hard to get there. (And it was, frankly)

Anyway, I know that just because it was 165 today, doesn't mean I couldn't bounce back up a bit with too much salt or random bloat etc. I tend to bounce a bit as I lose anyway. But for today, at last, I am 165! Onward and toward my LTG!
  • Congratulations!

STGs are just as important as LTGs because for all the work you put in, its important to remember to CELEBRATE.

Question: you're 6'1 and your doctors think you should weigh in the 140s? Maybe I need to rethink my goal weight, I'm way shorter than you...
  • That's wonderful! Great job

Actually the original number was 138. But I didn't think that was going to happen. So we discussed it and agreed I'd aim for anywhere in the 140s and call it good.

It is VERY important for you and everyone to note that I have an exceptionally tiny frame. I can wear a size 3.75 ring, and my wrists are like half of what most people's wrists are. This is the reason for the smaller then you'd normally think number. I am a very tiny, very tall person, with a lot of fat on me.
  • And just because I am super excited, 17.6lbs gone YAY!
