Mini Goal Food Log
 
First mini goal: log my food every day this week and stay under my calorie limit. It seemed like too much work before, but for now it is not so bad.

I signed up for my fitness pal a few days ago. I have logged all my food and stayed under my limit.

Obviously I have not noticed any weight loss. What I have noticed is that I am a POOR meal planner. Seriously, I managed to stay under my limit but what I was eating was like cardboard. Has to be a better way. Also knowing that I would have to write down food was very motivational NOT to sneak in extra juice and snacks....

I hope you met your goal! I am doing something similar. I am trying to avoid weight based goals and focus on actions that I am in control over. I don't like to depend on a scale. :)

I've been tracking calories off and on using The Daily Plate for years, and as I got back into it last week I added a link to my public profile at the bottom of my signature, so other people can click and see what I'm eating.

I usually focus on staying under or around my calorie goal, and then making sure that I'm hitting AT LEAST 100% of my recommended amount of protein and fiber.

Thanks, guys. I did not hit my mini goal for every day I missed Sat. :( But back on the horse as they say and try again next week. I am going to check out that daily plate!
