It is not all about pounds

  • I had lost 60 pounds in the past and regained 30 of those and now Im down 17 and getting there. Those are numbers my mini goal is energy, yes that feeling of being able to do more.

Move faster and move more. I hate people taking my picture just runs away from photographer cannot stand to see myself, I tend to disappear real quick, or look stern not smiling because I just want to hide. Silly yes but that is how I feel.

This week end I was participating in a huge event where we were painting in front of thousand of people and with a whole bunch of photographers zapping their little heart away.

First I had my pedometer with me and it was on I forgot to close it, in the morning told my painting partner that I was going to be dead by the end of the day. First thing I know I am bouncing from one painting to the other, squatting, stretching because we had 2 canvas of 4' x 6' to do, darn I made 16,452 steps and felt great. And guest what I was smiling and even taking pose for the people, I saw some of the pictures since they usually ask our permission and was saying wow what a difference a few pounds can do to how I feel.

I did the same event last year had a blast also love painting but......this year I was all over the place, zapping king bring it on.
  • Thanks for posting this, it's a good point!
  • 16,452 steps is a lot of walking!!! Good job!
  • That's a very cool story. It's nice that those pounds dropped gave you the energy to do what you love.

It's only been a couple of weeks for me, counting calories and exercise, but I can definitely feel the changes.
