Mini-goal deadlines
I'm focusing more on fitness and inches than losing a specific amount of weight, but I do have a few "deadlines" this year that I want to use to monitor my progress.
In the past I tended to set one deadline and do very well, but then fall apart once that date passes. This year I'm going to set several deadlines so that each time I complete one I have another coming up. Deadline 1: March 7 - SXSW music festival here in Austin, which I go to every year. Gotta fit in those cute spring dresses. Deadline 2: April 27 - My first trip to see friends in Chicago in 2 years! Deadline 3: May 30 - 10 year reunion for high school. Deadline 4: September 13 - Friend's wedding Deadline 5: October 31 - Halloween! I want a cute costume, dangit. |
I just wanted to update: I've lost about 5 lbs and 2.5" overall since the beginning of January.
At this rate I'm hoping to be around 145 for my first deadline in March. I'd also like to have lost at least 5" overall and be able to run at least 1.25 miles without a break to walk. |
