1 Year!
 

Hello darling chicks,

For those who remember me, I wanted to give an update and check in with you wonderful ladies. Thus far I have been maintaining for several months now - sincerely blessed to be able to say I can do that! I only have a few more pounds I want to lose, but I wanted to update that it's been ONE YEAR since I started seriously losing weight. So much has occurred over the past year. It's been an emotional journey. I am so very blessed to have the support system I do - plus have this website as a reference of encouragement and knowledge.

I got a kitty named James Bond. He's the most loving and sweetest!

It didn't take a year for me to notice this change, but wow!

I finally achieved a dream goal of mine and cosplayed at Blizzcon! :)

I caught myself quite the catch a few months back. He's very supportive and impressed by my progress. I'm a lucky lady!

I will say that none of this was made possible BECAUSE of weight loss, but because I finally loved myself enough to see I was worthy of love, happiness, and adventure. :hug: Keep going ladies, because next year you'll never know where you'll end up! :smug:

OMG the cosplay is amazing!!

Cosplaying at Blizzcon was a dream of mine as well. I set Blizzcon's 2013 date to be something I worked toward every day. I purchased the tickets in advance and committed to cosplaying. Knowing I was going to be in costume was a huge motivator. Bilzzcon 2014 I plan on being even better physical shape! So, this year's focus will be another cosplay. It was the most fun, liberating thing I've been able to do in my new body. :)
