The size in the sky...
 

Hey all...
I may have already posted a mini-goal message about the size 16 I squeezed my tush into two months ago.. but I wanted to revisit it.

I went out shopping for cheap clothes today, you know the usual places--Goodwill, Target, Old navy--and I fit safely into 16's at ALL PLACES. I even bought a couple L long sleeve shirts and cardigans! L!! not XXL, not XL. It was one letter! I know these places aren't normal sizes and run fairly huge, but boy-o-boy it feels good.

When I first started this whole thing... whew.. a long long time ago, I remember talking with a friend of mine about how I wish I could just be a size 16. How I would be happy to be on the higher end of sizes at normal stores instead of shoving myself into the 22's from the plus size sections at certain stores. I did it. I could almost cry. :^:

I am also really happy because it seems like all summer nothing was budging. I was maintaining and not losing. So finally 2 weeks ago I got back on the horse and really made an attempt to sweat more, eat better, and just be all around more conscious. I think its working. I have seen some success on the scale lately. I hope to boldly go where my body hasn't ever been as an adult.

I totally understand! There's a difference between your first garment in a lower size and when you really and truly are that size. Sounds like you'll be wearing your first 14 before the month is out!!!!

I'm thinking in a similar way, I'm a size 24 right now and a size 16 seems so far away, it's great knowing other people have conquered the scale! Congrats to you !!
