Wow Ian! I've been so impressed watching your progress. I agree that losing 100 pounds is no mini-goal. Cheers to you!

Thanks everyone. I am enjoying a beer right now. A Lagunitas Hopstoopid.

Onwards to goal!

Looking handsome, Ian!!

Awesome progress very inspiriational.

I will say though that for my body and my health the most profound thing I have done is go to lower carbs, especially refined carbs.

Am I doing Atkins? No. Probably not even close. But I was eating a lot of refined carbs even though at home we only had whole grain. But out and about just a ton of carbs.

So yeah a beer diet would not be for me. I had classic too much carbs syndroms, huge belly, high triglyc..., tired, feeling hungry after a carb meal.

Still very big but I feel a million times better. And my original end of year goal, under 250 I should meet in the next couple of months. Limiting carbs was THE most profound health step forward I have ever taken.

Wow, really well done on the weight loss, Ian! And I love your sense of style. You're looking great.

The only problem is your name triggers in me an instant craving for beer!

You should be very proud of yourself, congrats!

I missed this thread when you originally posted because I was on vacation on the back woods of Idaho without Internet for over a week.

I'm so proud of you! You're an inspiration to so many people here and one of the reasons I find the strength to keep going on my own journey. You will make goal soon, despite the slow down, you running beast!
