My NSV..the dreaded hill with 100% incline.
I was hoping I could do it by the end of summer since I am so out of shape. However I have been feeling better since I started my daily walks again. I am not gonna lie, I had to take 3 breaks walking up this beast. My next goal is to walk up it without a break. I thought my legs were on fire, but the rewards were so worth it. :carrot:
Sorry the pics are huge, but they are from my photobucket account. Here is the pic of the hill. http://i1349.photobucket.com/albums/...ps46c5f317.jpg and the reward http://i1349.photobucket.com/albums/...psff15711c.jpg |

Wow that is a beautiful reward!!

Aww. This is lovely. You make me want to find a hill to climb.
|
That is awesome! And what a beautiful reward.
|
Thank you! I call it the money shot every time I see it. I wasn't brave enough to do it today, but will attempt it again tomorrow. I really want to walk up it by the end of summer with no breaks.
I also love rewards that are not food, I tend to reward myself that way usually. |
Awesome reward! That's beautiful!

That's definitely a hill worth climbing. Great job!

I wanted to say that I have stuck with this for two weeks. I do it almost every day. It's a 45 minute walk uphill & down. I still haven't made it up the big one without a break. I hope to by summers end. Yesterday I added in another 20 minutes with more hills and added in jogging on the flat paths. I feel amazing. I hope I can stick with it for the rest of summer.
Still losing weight slowly, but I am hanging in there. This time feels for real. |
