Lost 15 pounds! ^^

I lost 10 pounds since going to the doctors a couple months ago, and that was just with not overeating. Just last Monday is when I started eating healthy and exercising everyday. So I did a weigh in on Tuesday of this week and went from 196 to 191! :) That's 5 pounds in one week! Woohoo! :carrot: It's pretty shocking to me, but this shows that with true hard work and dedication, sooner or later you will definitely see results.
Just wanted to let the beginners (like me) know what I have been doing. Nutrition wise, I have been eating veggies and fruit with every meal I have. And I never have seconds.. that is my number one rule! Because once you eat something, even if you think you're still hungry, you're not. :p I eat every 2-3 hours, but small meals. All I drink is water, unless it's morning, sometimes I have a glass of milk with a banana. I have exercised everyday since I started for at least 40 minutes a day. I do a strength training workout first (lunges, planks, sit ups, wall sits, squats, squat jumps, jumping jacks, and burpees) I got the workout I do from instagram, and it burns! But it's a good burn because I know that with every exercise I do, fat is burning off my body! ::dizzy: After each workout, I do cardio. I started out with walking, and now I'm jogging a bit. I jog for 3 minutes, and walk for 2. One day i jogged for 8 minutes straight, but that day I pushed myself a lot a lot! Maybe next week I'll jog that much again, but for now I'll add a minute to my jogging time a day :))
So that's it! It has been one week so far, but I already feel amazing! I'm so happy I finally started getting myself together, and am looking forward to being a healthy person! :D

This is so true! Results are the true motivator, moreso than anything anyone can say. The flip side is that what seems like a lack of results can also be a killer!

Keep up the good work! ;)
