Do you mind if I ask what size you started out as, and what you ended up at?
I was a size 3x but clothes that size werent even fitting right anymore. For over 10 years the store I mostly shopped at was Deb Shop in the mall because they had cute fashionable clothes, but in plus sizes. At my highest weight not even their biggest size of 3x fit. For jeans I refused to buy bigger jeans after I grew out of my size 18's. I tried buying jeans once that were probably a size 22 or bigger and hated them because the legs were baggier than I liked. I've never been sure what size they were because they were especially for heavy people and went by color code for size and a name for body shape (Red-Devotion would be something like size 22, more room in the stomach and butt, tighter in the legs). I bought 2 pairs but never used them. So I wore stretchy type pants for over 5 years. Now I am a size 9 in jeans and size Small or Medium in shirts.

I am 25 right now and have recently had my own "I'm living in a shell and don't like doing normal 25-year-old activities" moment...and have lost 40 lbs since Dec. 31...your story pushes me to KEEP GOING! THANK YOU for sharing it, Again, kudos kudos kudos!!!

Wow!...just WOW. First I want to say congratulations, you look amazing. Your story is incredible....and so inspiring!! Thank you so much for posting this. I am basically in the same boat you were in in the very beginning. I'm a 25yr old single mom, realizing just how unhappy I am with my weight&body right now....and I want to be healthy and have more energy for myself and for my daughter (she's 2 years old). I've been overweight since I was in middle school and enough is enough! I am so ready for change and I at least know now I'm headed in the right direction. Thank you for your inspiring/motivating story

Your story has really inspired me. I'm in the exact same boat, at 24 after 2 children I'm at my all time heaviest of 263lb. I have the weight of an average woman to shed and I keep putting off starting as I'm finding it very overwhelming to get my head around.
Thank you and well done! I know it can be done (and rather quickly if I stick to it!) X
