I think the difference in my face is crazy
 

I don't think I look like the same person. It also sort of scares me because I don't ever want to look gaunt and I still have 39ish lbs to go.

wow. you really look different. I would say it wasn't the same person at all. Of course you look happier in your new picture and your hair is different, but your face isn't puffy anymore and you look even prettier and healthier!

Thank you! I wouldn't recognize myself if I didn't know it was me. Hopefully my husband will still know me when he gets home.

I have the same fear about looking gaunt, because I like my face right now and I have about 50 lbs to go... but I think if you look at most skinny people their faces are still healthy--I suspect it's hard to lose THAT much weight in the face. Don't let it discourage you. You look really great by the way. :)

Lambiechop, you look wonderful! My face did start to look a bit too thin once I had lost about 30-40% of my body weight but it adjusted over time and filled out. Also, I was pretty inconsistent with drinking my water but once I started getting at least the 64 oz in regularly, this helped a great deal.

I don't take many pics but here's how my face looks 100+ pounds lighter.

Awesome Job!! I start my diet tomorrow, I am so nervous. I hope I can do as well as all of you ladies. Any secrets?

Wow, that's a big difference! But your hair is also different, and that might also have quite a bit to do with it as well.

Thanks Lambiechop. I've noticed small changes (for the better) as my weight has stabalized. My face and breasts have filled back out some and my skin (although some areas still loose) is looking better. When I started heavy lifting my hands became really veiny and I hated how they looked but again as I moderated things, the hands filled back out some. It just takes time and a lot of patience.

You look like a different person! I bet the difference in your body is big as well!

I have noticed in almost all of the before and afters that you all look so much younger in the after pic's..really..like 10yrs. My mom alwys said weight ages you and I must agree...i am a twinge jealous and very inspired...:) rock on

I'm dyinggg to lose weight in my face. I have high cheek bones and it seems like my face is just destined to be fat-filled forever, at least as far as my cheeks go, they're so meaty.

What a difference! You look so healthy and happy; your skin looks fab, your hair is darling, and I think where I notice the biggest change is in your eyes....they sparkle! I don't think you have to stress about your face getting "too thin", because really, if you think about it, when you look at a "normal" weight person, do they have gaunt looking faces? Usually not, in my opinion. And, you're still young, so you've got that wonderful elasticity thing in your skin going for you.

It really does look like two different people!!

Yesterday someone looked at my driver's license and said You look so much younger than this photo"--I looked at it and realized that it was the weight in my face that is gone - I have a chin again! I also realized that people have always said "you don't look old enough to have daughters that age (29,23,20) and I noticed this past year they had stopped saying it....well, this fall I am getting that comment once again--I bet it is the weight chance, especially in my face!
