I dont understand!

Im stuck at 322 still working SO hard towards my first mini goal! I decided to switch from a balanced diet to virtually NO carbs because my weight loss was halting and just calorie counting and 30 min / day walk not cutting it!
Now I feel extremely tired and still the scale is only budging by a few ounces each day and I feel like Im having to fight just to keep that tiny victory!
I know I can do this...It just seems like my body is fighting me much harder to keep the weight on this time and I don't understand why?!:?:

slow and steady

Remember no matter how frustrating, slow and steady wins the race!
The healthy way is losing 1-2 lbs a week.
It goes slow yes but you'll feel better with every change you make.
Always remember to have at least 1200 calories a day. Anything less is starvation and the weight won't come off.
I hope you continue on your journey and if you ever need help just send me a message.
we're all in this together no matter how alone we feel some days :)

Couponmom85....
Than You for your encouragement and support, I appreciate it!
I know that I cannot maintain the "no carb" thing as it is to restricting and I dont feel good when doing it, So I think I just need to focus on a more real/ healthy and attainable goal of 1-2 lbs a week and quit expecting that stupid thing I stand on each morning to go down everyday! I'm just frustrated I guess because in the past (when I was younger) It seems it was easier to lose weight w/ just a little effort.....now my body thinks it's really old and needs to hold on to the weight for some reason....Idk, BUT I WILL DO THIS!!! Thx again for listening and the support and may you have continued success as well! ;)

Have you tired different/more exercise? I know that helps me when I am trying to reach a goal. Eventually your body will get used to what you are doing and the weight will start dropping. Just keep up the good work! I limit my carbs, I do not cut them out. If I eat too many I do see a stall though. Like I try to only include them in one meal.

what have you replaced the carbs with? Your better off replacing the carbs with protein. Don't miss meals and if you want a bit more, just have more protein foods. You don't have to burn protein, so your already have a head start.

I was stuck between 285-287 for what seemed like a year but was only a couple of weeks. I think it was just a weight my body was comfortable with but I just had to stay on plan and get my exercise in. I'm not "low carb" but my carbs are lower and protein is higher.

Hi again!
I did get a membership at my local rec center and started swimming and cardio today and it felt great! I hope the added exercise will help bring that scale down!
I also have decided that I will try to follow a diabetic diet as it is lower Carb and higher protien, less starch and no sugar. Hopefully this in addition to added exercise will be a lasting successs! ;)
