Default Who's shadow is that?!
Today I was walking to the store, wearing a kind of tight shirt (which is unlike me) and the sun was shining, and I looked down at my shadow and saw an hourglass figure! For the first time in a -long- time, if ever.

I stopped walking for a second (Y'know, to check out my shadow-body :P) and boyfriend said something like "Wow, your waist sure is getting tiny babe"
Eee!

So anyway, it has been a good day. Even though it's quite silly, I feel more motivated than ever.

That's awesome and so funny you should mention that. This weekend I was walking with my husband around our local lake. My husband is tall and thin. I've seen our shadow side by side for 18 years and mine was always the short and fat one. This time I saw it and was like, "wow!" and I said, I'm as small/skinny as you are. and he said, "Well, of course, you can wear my jeans, right? You are as small as I am now." That was so surprising and since it was a shadow, unexpected - as you discovered today.

Berryblondeboys~ that is so sweet. I can't wait for the day I can fit into boyfriend's jeans. And it's remarkable the things you notice when your body starts changing like that. I mean, there are the things you expect, loose clothes, numbers on the scale...but the ones that have really motivated me are ones I didn't see coming. Like the shadow and being able to pick up my son easier :]
