My first mini goal
I started on my journey this week with an at-home exercise plan and healthy eating plan. My first goal was to simply DO something, get MOVING, and so I exercised 3 times this week:
- one 1-hour full-body weight-training session to get things rolling (was exhausted all day after that one) - tried 30 minutes of zumba for the first time, which I found out I suck at lol! - walked outside for 45 minutes I also stuck to my eating plan 4 out of 7 days and the other 3, I tried to make somewhat ok food choices to not entirely sabotage myself, and when I didn't do as well, I did not give up and told myself I would do better the next meal, which is a big deal for me, as I am a perfectionnist and I have a tendency to give up entirely if only one minuscule thing does not follow "the plan". I decided I would only weigh myself once per week and today was the day and I lost 2.2 pounds! So now week 2 begins with another mini goal. I can honestly say that reading about everyone's goals and stories here is helping to keep me motivated. So a big "thank you" to everyone for being so open about your stories and continued success to all of you! |
