I love this site and all of the weight loss support given and received by all of the members. I enjoy visiting with the CCers, the support groups, the Challenges and especially Sarge's (crazy) Boot Camp.

Thanks to 3fc I learned about and decided to attempt C25K. I jogged my first 5k in Oct of last year. Now I am training for a 1/2 marathon in Sept. I have my first 7 mile jog scheduled tomorow! I have learned not to be to hard on myself if I let life get in the way sometimes. If I go Off Plan for a day, a week, whatever, I need to get over it, let go of the guilt and get back to doing what I need to do to be healthy. I also learned that I love the way I feel when I am active and eating healthy.

    Background:
My low weight I can remember is 137.8
I got married in 1997 and weighed about 157 or 158
After my son was born in 1999 I ended up being around 180 - 185
After my twins were born in 2005 I was severly sleep deprived and ate and ate.
In mid July 2009 and I weighed 237.8 and I knew I needed a change so I started CCing.
July 11, 2010 I was 206 but wanted to keep going so I refocused on ccing again.
July 16, 2010 I knew I needed something to help keep me motivated so I joined 3fc.
There have been a few different times when life got too busy and I stopped coming to check in...guess what? I gained weight each time! I now know that I need to make time to come in and visit with others who have gone through or are going through a similar life change, it is part of taking care of myself and is important to me.
    July 16, 2011 ~ 178.8 and still going!

The following pic was taken this afternoon, August 26 ~ 164 lb. and no longer over weight according to BMI

Well your inspiration paid off. I went to the gym as I said above and I did 5 miles on the treadmill and 10 miles on the bike and then worked my arms. I came home, had an egg white omelet with Ezekiel toast for dinner and was so tired I went to bed. I have not felt this inspired in so long and all it took was seeing your pictures and progress to empower me to say no to myself. Thank you again!
