Awesome! How's your BP?

I can't wait to find out my cholesterol in April. I was high last year, and I'd already lost 45 pounds.

This is the best part about weight loss, isn't it?

Thanks everyone!!!

Last year my doc had me on the following:

1. water pill (for high blood pressure)
2. simvastatin (for high cholesterol)
3. prilosec (chronic gastritis)

Needless to say I am longer on any of those meds!!! I quit taking the cholesterol drug about a month into it, and vowed to use diet and exercise to manage my blood pressure and cholesterol levels!

Eliana - My blood pressure was 140/90 last year...today it is 110/70!!!:D Yup...this is surely the BEST part!;) My total cholesterol is still slightly high (under 200 is normal), but due to how high my good cholesterol, my ratio is EXCELLENT and that puts me at low risk for heart disease. Yeahhhh!!!!

Make sure you post your lab work changes when you get re-examined!

Thanks again everybody!!!:carrot:
