Starting to feel like I'm heading toward normal
 

This morning I was looking in the mirror and realized my arms seem a bit smaller, and I felt for a second like I'm starting to look normal. From the side and the back is still a horrifying view, but from the front, I can almost look without hating it, which is a huge step for me. It's starting to feel like this isn't impossible — like I'm not in the very beginning anymore but actually on my way.

I'm also in a state of numerical euphoria — in my head I'm still 300 pounds, but I get really excited when I go to check in on the weigh-in thread and type in 264.

I know I've barely made a dent and that I'm still twice the size of most people, but it feels good to see the scale going down. :D

It's not impossible. You're doing it! Keep it up.

COngrats!!! If you're getting happier with what you see, that's way more important than what anyone else sees! You're doing such a great job! :D
